A Grateful Day

Gratitude begins in our hearts, then dovetails into behavior.

It almost always makes you want to be of service,

which is where the joy resides.

How often do you stop to think about all that you feel grateful for?

It’s easy to get so caught up in what is happening in the world around us that we allow feelings of anger or fear or overwhelm to poison our daily lives.

A simple fix is to shift to gratitude. We can look around and notice all that we may be taking for granted – then the magic happens. We return to joy.

Then, from a place of gratitude and joy, we find it easy to spread kindness wherever we go.

This video from Brother David Steindl-Rast always gives me a lift. I hope it will uplift you as well.
