Let 2020 Vision Help You See 2021 Clearly

Vision isn’t about whether you can see in the light,

but how you navigate through the dark.

2020 was a pivotal year for most of us, and certainly for the planet.

Times of change bring powerful lessons, insights and opportunities. Reflection on those will help us to understand our own lives and to receive guidance for the next steps we take

We think of 20/20 vision as perfect vision. As we look ahead to the new year, it’s good to have a clear vision of the year we just lived through.

What did we learn in 2020?

The challenges of the last year are pretty clear to most of us. How we learned to cope and to make the best of the present reality will give us insights for the way forward.

Did you discover inner strength you didn’t know you had?

Were you able to give up things you thought were important, then discover that you did fine without them?

Did you have to let go of habits that supported you, and did you discover new ways that helped you get through?

Did you have time to develop a skill or pursue an interest you did not have time for before?

Did you find new ways to be kind to people in need?

Did you receive unexpected kindnesses from others?

Consider what you learned about yourself. In what ways did you grow in 2020

Now let’s take our new understanding into 2021

What parts of 2020 do you want to take with you because they served you well?

Are there things from your previous life that you no longer want to return to?

As the world moves to a post-COVID19 normalcy, do you want to go back to the way things were or do you want to move forward to a new reality?

What would that look like for you

This is a time of transition for the planet and for our lives. Although some things will be out of our control, we do have the power to decide how we are going to respond to what is happening around us.

So, let’s take the time to reflect on those things within our power. This is a good time to revisit our Vision of the world we want to live in.

That world will not magically show up in the coming year, but, if we let it, our vision lays the foundation for the way we live our daily lives.

In a time of planetary transition, we will see changes in the world we used to know.

Out of those changes, a new world will emerge, and we all have an opportunity to shape that world.

We are not suggesting that you can change the whole world.

We are saying with certainty that we all have an impact on the part of the world we live in.

What would you like to bring to the new year that contributes to your vision of the world you want to live in?

We each have our own answers. There is no right or wrong. We each get to decide what we want to contribute to the world in 2021.

Our wish for you is that your life will be filled with love, joy and peace.
